Where should I bet on MNF?
The game is going to start and you want to get in a little action on it. Great, but where should I go to make my bet? The first thing I have to ask is are you in Las Vegas or are you at home? I will give you my top three Las Vegas sportsbooks if you happen to be in Vegas for the game. If you are not here (yes, I live in Vegas) then I can give you my top three online sportsbooks to get in some action. Lets get started!
Top Three Las Vegas Sportsbooks
Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook
I am a sports gambler and this is the my top choice to hangout at. They have the most bets on the board of any sportsbook in Las Vegas. It isn’t a fancy place but it is all about betting. Take advantage of talking to other guys in the book because this is the Mecca of sports betting in Vegas. It is huge, lots of TV’s and relatively cheap food. The downside is on Sunday and just before Monday Night Football starts, there are lines so don’t wait until the last minute to make a bet. I know it is off the strip but if you are going to be in Vegas for a few days take a trip over and see it for yourself. If you play daily fantasy football then the Westgate list of football prop bets is a must to check out.
Caesars Palace Sportsbook
This is the one real competitor with Westgate for local Las Vegas sports gamblers. It is one of the largest sportsbooks in Las Vegas. The place is a madhouse on Monday nights during the football season. The chairs are more comfortable than at the Westgate and the cocktail waitresses are better looking. You are also in the middle of the strip so it is easy to get to and when the game is over you are surrounded by restaurants and shows. While it doesn’t offer the gambling options that the Westgate does, you will find all of your basic sports bets and some decent prop bets.
The seats are the best. You might laugh but if you are going to spend a Monday Night or spend all day Sunday sitting down and watching football. The Bellagio is all about comfort and service. The cocktail waitresses are hot and the lines at the betting window are taken care of fast. If you want to get in a little poker before or after the game, the poker room is located next to the sportsbook. The Bellagio sportsbook isn’t very big so get there early. On Sunday’s during the regular season if me and a few friends are going to the Bellagio. We will have one guy show up early and get the chairs toward the back by the bar. You will be far enough back that you can see all of the games. The betting menu is limited and I often bet on my phone with other sportsbooks while sitting in the Bellagio.
Top Three Online Sportsbooks
Bovada is built for United States customers. It has an extensive betting menu on football that includes the basics of sides, totals and money lines. Two things that really separate Bovada from the rest is the number of prop bets available. This is the sportsbook for you if you play daily fantasy sports. Quarterback prop bets like; how many yards, how many touchdowns, interceptions..etc, They have prop bets on hundreds of NFL players every week and an extensive prop betting menu for Monday Nights. The other thing I like about Bovada is the live betting menu. Just think of all of the bets you can make before a game and with Bovada they can be made during the game. The one downside I have with Bovada is that the welcome bonus isn’t as big as the other two sportsbooks I use.
A relatively new online sportsbook that started in 2014. MyBookie.ag has two things that attracted me to the site. The first is a very aggressive welcome bonus option. The promotion they have going as I right this is a 100% welcome bonus up to $1,000. That is a lot of help building your bankroll. Think of the ROI you will have with you bets pumped up to the value of the bonus. That is what I do. What ever the bonus amount is I add that to my bet and get a bump up on the wins with the sportsbooks money. The other thing I like about this site is the mobile sports betting is easy to use. I bet on my phone if I am out of the house and I need an easy platform to navigate around. One of the advantages of being a relatively new website is that you can take advantage of the latest technology.
This is my middle ground between the two above. They started business in 1999 and didn’t have the greatest reputation. In 2014, BetOnline bought the company and completely straightened out the business. They are now a safe place to bet and more importantly, they are business that will pay the customer on time. What I like about them is that they have some top bonus offers. The promotion they have going as I right this is a 75% welcome bonus up to $1,000. That is a lot of help building your bankroll. They have a lot of other promotions going like a $50 free play bonus for betting and a $25 free play bonus for live betting. Sportsbetting.ag is a pretty straight forward sportsbook that will give you all of the bets you would expect on football. The mobile wager is decent, not as good as MyBookie but it is good enough to get the job done. Where they excel is in the bonus offers (including the all important reload bonus) and in providing customer service.
