Only two FBS teams, Georgia Southern and New Mexico, threw fewer touchdown passes than Northwestern (eight) this season.

Outback Bowl Prediction

Both teams finished the season winning down the stretch. They both have their defense to thank for the winning streaks. The same should continue in this game as both teams will play field position and defense. A close low scoring game goes to the dog getting more than a touchdown.

Outback Bowl Pick: Tennessee +8

Outback Bowl Score Prediction: Northwestern 23 – Tennessee 20
