Ohio State vs Oklahoma Free Pick
Ohio State is talented, but it has looked great at home against a couple of weak opponents. They rolled over Bowling Green and Tulsa. On the other side Bob Stoops is 96-8 at home and has not been a home ‘dog since 2000, when the Sooners upset No. 1 Nebraska. Over the summer sportsbooks opened Oklahoma as a 9 point favorite for this game. A lot of early money came in on Ohio State before the season started and then more came in after Oklahoma lost to Houston in Houston.

About Oklahoma (1-1)
The week one loss to Houston is what betters have in their minds when they think of the Sooners. In week two Oklahoma bounced back with a 59-17 victory over Louisiana-Monroe. Obviously a big step down in the opponents talent but what I like was they didn’t give up on the season. They came out strong and put this one away early.
Ohio State vs Oklahoma Prediction:
In week one the Sooners were beat on national TV by a team I think will be in the football playoffs. While, they lost decisively they didn’t play all that badly. It was a loss caused by the “big play” breakdown. I would expect a few more of those breakdowns against a talented team like Ohio State. However, what I also expect is for the Buckeyes to have some problems of their own now that they aren’t playing against the bottom half of college football. Ohio State is talented but it is also a young team going on the road and I think that will be the difference. Should be a high scoring game with my money going on the Sooners to get a little redemption in front of a national audience.
