Cowboys vs Cardinals Betting Preview

Will Ezekiel Elliott show up to play tonight or will he take another game off. Some players excel when they hit it big but others are too busy cashing paychecks and hanging with sycophants. Dak Prescott had to attempt a career-high 50 passes last week and may have to this week if Elliott doesn’t feel like playing. Tight end Jason Witten has been the primary beneficiary of the Cowboys new found love of passing. He has 17 receptions in two games and his two receiving scores are tied for second best in the league. Dez Bryant will most likely be shadowed by All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson so once again Witten will be a workhorse receiver.

The Cardinals have looked awful in their first two games. Still managing a win in overtime against the Colts has them at 1-1. The loss of running back David Johnson, has made the focus on Carson Palmer and his aging arm more relevant. Does he have enough left to get the job down as the primary offensive weapon? The answer to that so far is no. Maybe home cooking will change that tonight.

Cowboys vs Cardinals Betting Prediction

The Cardinals offense is not going to be as good as expected and they will need to grind out wins this season. The Cowboys opened the year beating a Giants team but not getting a great offensive effort. The Cardinals are home tonight and that will make the difference in a close low scoring game.
