Eagles vs Panthers Betting Preview
Philadelphia beat Arizona 34-7 on Sunday and they are sitting atop the NFC East with a 4-1 record. The Eagles lone loss was at undefeated Kansas City. The Panthers are also 4-1 and alone in first place in the NFC South.
Last week Wentz had four touchdown passes and tight end Zach Ertz continues to be Wentz’s favorite target with 32 receptions and two touchdowns this season. If there is a question mark on the Eagles it is the defense which ranks 29th against the pass.
Cam Newton got off to a slow start while working his way back from offseason surgery on his throwing shoulder but he looks healthy now. In the past two games he has 671 passing yards and six TDs. Rookie running back Christian McCaffrey has 27 catches while wide receiver Devin Funchess has 14 receptions and three scores over the past two games. One of the most overlooked reason for the Panthers success this season is the Carolina defense which is surrendering 274 yards per game ranking 1st in the NFC.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Carolina Panthers Prediction
Two of the teams that are doing better than predicted will play on Thursday Night Football. A healthy Cam Newton has the offense moving and the Eagles offense under Wentz is 7th ranked in scoring at 27.4 points per game. I have both offenses scoring as both quarterbacks have good games.
