The Tennessee Titans and the Kansas City Chiefs will both be trying to pick up a win on Sunday when they battle at Arrowhead Stadium.

Oddsmakers currently have the Chiefs listed as 5½-point favorites versus the Titans, while the game’s total is sitting at 41½.

The Chiefs were a 21-13 winner in their most recent outing at home against the Raiders. They covered the -3.5-point spread as favorites, while the total score (34) made winners of UNDER bettors.

Tennessee was a 13-10 winner in its last match at home against the Broncos. They covered the -2-point spread as favorites, while the total score of 23 sent UNDER bettors to the payout window.

Tennessee: 7-6 SU,5-8 ATS

The Tennessee Titans are riding high after beating the Denver Broncos, 13-10, on Sunday. With the win, Tennessee kept in pace with the Houston Texans in the AFC South title race with just three games remaining this season.

Leading the way for the Titans in their Week 13 win was DeMarco Murray. He ran for 92 yards and a touchdown in the win against the Broncos. The Titans, for that matter, had a field day against Denver’s front seven, rushing for 180 yards on 42 carries. Tennessee’s 42 rushes Sunday are their second-most in a game this campaign, with a season-high 89 of their 180 yards coming after first contact.

The Titans will need more of the same efficiency from their ground game if they are to beat the Chiefs this coming Sunday. Tennessee is third in the NFL in rushing offense, averaging 144.5 yards per game this season.

Tennessee will also need its defense to be relentless against Kansas City. The Titans held the Broncos to just 10 points on Sunday, their lowest output of the season. That helped Tennessee navigate a poor performance by Marcus Mariota who only had six completions against the Broncos.

The Titans are 2-4 ATS on the road this season.
Tennessee is 5-15-1 ATS in its last 21 games
Tennessee is 4-2 SU in its last 6 games
The total has gone OVER in 8 of Tennessee’s last 10 games

Kansas City: 10-3 SU,7-6 ATS

There’s just no stopping Kansas City right now. The Chiefs extended their winning run to three games with a thrilling 21-13 victory over the Oakland Raiders on Thursday.

Kansas City held MVP candidate Derek Carr to just 17 of 41 for 117 yards passing on Thursday. Tyreek Hill recorded a pair of long scores on Thursday, one of which was a 78-yard punt return. He now leads the Chiefs with nine total touchdowns this season. Kelce, on the other hand, had five catches for 101 yards. That was the tight end’s fourth straight game in triple digits.

The victory came at a huge price, though, for the Chiefs with star linebacker Derrick Johnson rupturing his left Achilles just before halftime. He will not only miss Sunday’s game against the Titans but also the rest of the season. That’s a bitter blow for a Kansas City defense that’s allowing just 19.6 points per game this season, eighth-fewest in the NFL.

Current Streak: won 3 straight games.
Kansas City is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
Kansas City is 8-1 SU in its last 9 games
The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Kansas City’s last 9 games
