NFL Expert Betting Predictions 9-10-17

The NFL is back and I hope you were on my free betting prediction on the Thursday Night game when I had the Kansas City Chiefs +9 points. Didn’t need the points but it sure made for an easy cash.

Oakland Raiders vs Tennessee Titans Betting Prediction:

When: 1:00 PM ET, Sunday, September 10, 2017
Where: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, Tennessee
BETTING LINE: Titans -3. O/U: 50.5
TV: 1 p.m. ET, CBS.

The 2016 season for the Raiders has put them back in the hunt for an NFL title. The season ended poorly in the playoffs without star Quarterback Derrek Carr but he is back and healthy and has an excellent pair of targets in receivers Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. Tennessee also is welcoming back its quarterback from a broken leg, as Marcus Mariota is ready to improve on a season in which he completed more than 61 percent of his passes. Mariota also has numerous weapons at his disposal, as receiver Rishard Matthews is joined by newcomer Eric Decker and Western Michigan product Corey Davis, who was selected fifth overall in this year’s draft.

In looking at this game it is evident that the two best units on the field will be on offense. The total is set to be over 50 points and I still like the over. The Raiders will be able to score against anyone this season. The down side for the Raiders is that the linebackers are weak against the pass. The Titans should be able to run and pass on Oakland in what should be a fun game to watch. Not taking a side in this one but I am betting on the over.

Raiders vs Titans Bet: Over 50.5 points

Indianapolis Colts vs Los Angeles Rams Betting Prediction:

When: 4:05 PM ET, Sunday, September 10, 2017
Where: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, California
BETTING LINE: Rams -4. O/U: 41.5
TV: 4:05 p.m. ET, CBS.

The Indianapolis Colts will be without quarterback Andrew Luck when they open their season Sunday against the host Los Angeles Rams. Scott Tolzien will make his fourth career start in place of Luck, who threw for 4,240 yards and 31 touchdowns last season. Indianapolis also will be missing starting center Ryan Kelly.

New Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay is hoping to lead the Rams to their first winning season in 14 years as he relies on quarterback Jared Goff, who was the first overall pick of the 2016 draft but went 0-7 as a starter. Goff, who threw five touchdowns and seven interceptions last season. However, last season he didn’t have Sammy Watkins to throw to. The biggest hire for the Rams might be defensive coordinator Wade Phillips. He should be able to turn this into a better defense fast.

The combination of Andrew Luck not playing and defensive coordinator Wade Phillips getting a shot to show what he can do is too much to pass up. I have the Colts one of the NFL’s most overrated teams even with Andrew Luck. Taking the Rams to win by double digits against a Colts team with a weak offensive line and no quarterback.

Colts vs Rams Bet: Rams -4.5 points

New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys Betting Prediction:

When: 8:30 PM ET, Sunday, September 10, 2017
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
BETTING LINE: Cowboys -4. O/U: 47.5
TV: 8:30 p.m. ET, NBC.

Running back Ezekiel Elliott will play despite accusations of domestic violence. This isn’t exactly what the struggeling NFL needed to start the season. More coverage on things that have nothing to do with football. Now all the NFL needs is for Elliot to sit during the National Anthem to tank the ratings further. Oh well, I am here to bet on the game and I can give a rats ass about the players.

Elliott lead the league in rushing with 1,631 yards as a rookie last season. However, the Giants swept Dallas last season and have won three straight in the series. So, having Elliot is exactly a guarantee of a win. The Giants have one of the best in the game on offense with wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. His status for the game is in question after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday due to a left ankle injury sustained in a preseason game against Cleveland. If he doesn’t play then the Giants off season moves of signing six-time Pro Bowler Brandon Marshall and making rookie tight end Evan Engram their first-round draft pick will still keep the offense rolling.

The Giants beat the Cowboys twice last year and are a better team this season. Got to take the points in a game I have being decided by a field goal late. Who wins? Me with the points.

Giants vs Cowboys Bet: Giants +4 points
