Vikings vs Steelers Betting Preview

Minnesota quarterback Sam Bradford completed 27 of his 32 pass attempts for 346 yards and three touchdowns in the 29-19 opening win over the New Orleans Saints on Monday. One of the things that made Bradford so successful in Week 1 was the presence of rookie running back Dalvin Cook, who rushed for 127 yards on 22 carries. The Steelers won despite a poor offensive showing. The Steelers defense carried the day and they were lead by rookie defensive end T.J. Watt, who recorded two sacks and an interception in his debut.

Vikings vs Steelers Prediction:

The Steelers will be at home and that usually means that Ben will be on. I do expect the Pittsburgh offense to be far more productive this week. However, the Vikings offense isn’t a one week wonder. They have the perfect setup for Bradford. The short quick passing game along with a real running game will have the Vikings scoring in this one. I like this to be a higher scoring game with the Steelers winning a close one. As long as I can get 4.5 points or more I am on the Vikings along with an over bet.

Vikings vs Steelers Bet: Vikings +5.5 & Over 46.5
